Maxi Kleber and Marquese Chriss are also under contract next season. Drummond is continuing to revive his career a bit, and this could happen with Luka Doncic running the show. He can act as a rim-runner for a fast-paced offense that likes to use speed at all three levels.
Doncic has carried the Mavericks into the postseason in the last three years. This franchise has turned into a consistent winner, and it is time to take the next step. This can be done by adding talent that has been there before.
