TJ Warren

This is not an extremely deep free-agent class. There will not be a loaded group available each year so teams will sometimes have to make do with what is. That is where TJ Warren comes into play.

Warren broke out for the Indiana Pacers down in the bubble but has played just four games since then. Injuries have piled up for Warren and this is not ideal heading into free agency.

Regardless, TJ Warren has shown that he can score from all three levels. At this point, the New York Knicks need good players – plain and simple.

Evan Fournier’s contract is looking like a disaster after one season. There is not much depth behind him at shooting guard and this is where Warren could come into play. The two would be able to be on the court at the same time but it seems likely that Warren would take over as the main option.

Considering TJ Warren’s injury history, his contract would not be massive and this is something that should interest the Knicks. If they can get a talented scorer on a bargain, this seems like a productive move in the offseason.
