LA Clippers Receive: G Mike Conley
Utah Jazz Receive: G Brandon Boston Jr., F Terance Mann, F Marcus Morris, 2027 First-Round Pick Swap
This trade between the LA Clippers and Utah Jazz was put together by Dan Favale over at Bleacher Report. He compiled a few blockbuster trade ideas for the upcoming season and this one would certainly shake up these two Western Conference contenders.
This was Part 2 of a Utah reset that Favale proposed. The first trade involved Rudy Gobert heading to the Portland Trail Blazers. Mike Conley being traded to the Clippers would complete the reset, bringing in some new faces and a ton of draft capital to reshape the roster around Donovan Mitchell.
The Jazz receives some solid pieces in this package from the Clippers. Brandon Boston Jr. was a second-round pick in the 2021 NBA Draft with some upside. He played rotation minutes for the Clippers and would be in line for an expanded role in Utah.
Terance Mann is the wing defender that Utah has been searching for and is on a favorable contract. Marcus Morris gives them another small-ball option in the frontcourt and someone that could be flipped again down the line for more assets.

The 2027 first-round pick swap could be a sticking point. Los Angeles may try to adjust the draft compensation, but Utah should push to get at least something in return for what they are taking on.
