Making the Case: Detroit Pistons
The path for the Pistons is clear and it showed this season. Jerami Grant lead the team with 19.9 points per game but Cade Cunningham and Saddiq Bey were right behind him.
Cunningham got off to a slow start after dealing with an injury but averaged 17.4 points and 5.6 assists per game during his rookie year. Bey was one of very few players around the league to play in and start all 82 games. He averaged 16.1 points in 33 minutes of action per night.
Detroit has a strong core to build around on both ends of the floor. Focusing on the development of talents like Cunningham, Bey, and whoever is selected with their first-round pick in the 2022 NBA Draft should be the priority.
Rozier recently signed an extension with the Hornets and has shown that he can score at all three levels. He is a guard that can play off the ball as well as run the offense from the top. This would fit well with Cunningham along the perimeter as they seek a secondary ball handler.

At this point, this deal just benefits Detroit because if they are able to get Rozier back in the deal, it seems like a no-brainer.
