Making the Case: San Antonio Spurs
The San Antonio Spurs won 34 games this season and that was still a bit more than expected. This is a storied franchise that is used to winning but is now rebuilding.
San Antonio does not have much depth down low. Poeltl manned the center position and played 68 games this season scoring 13.5 points per game. He is entering the final year of his contract where he is owed $9.3 million. If the Spurs do not have plans to extend his contract, Poeltl is the perfect trade piece.
The big man would benefit from a win-now team because of his experience.
As for Wiseman, he would be able to develop at his own rate in an extended role. This is what he would get in San Antonio, not to mention the guidance of one of the best coaches of all time.

This is not to say that Wiseman will be the next great big for the Spurs but he has a handful of games under his belt and still has a chance to turn into something special.
