Suddenly, the 2023 draft stands to define this team’s future. They’ll have their own selection in addition to the two they’re acquiring here. In a potentially historic class, the Jazz could acquire their new young core in a single swoop next summer.

They could even start on that process this summer if they believe in Cam Reddish. It seems that some NBA observers do, and some don’t. Advanced metrics consistently paint Reddish as a below-average defender, an expected strength of his coming out of college.
