Could two staples in the Western Conference playoffs suffer early exits from the NBA postseason once again?
This has become a trend for both the Utah Jazz and Denver Nuggets, who have been unable to advance to the NBA Finals and achieve their ultimate goal. At some point, there has to be a blockbuster deal made and if there is, these would be two candidates.
This is more of a fact for the Jazz. The duo of Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert have been unable to lead the Jazz to where they want to be, despite being at the top of the conference for quite some time. The duo has had their issues off the floor and the relationship is on rocky grounds. If the Jazz suffer an early exit once again, the front office could send one away.
In today’s NBA, it seems beneficial to move Gobert, given the guard-heavy nature of the league. If Mitchell is available, the Nuggets could look to create an intriguing big three in the rotation.
