Montrezl Harrell has played for three teams over the last two NBA seasons since bursting onto the scene with the LA Clippers. Harrell left the Clippers for their crosstown rival before being sent to the Washington Wizards.

This season, Washington moved Harrell once again and he finally landed in Charlotte. The Hornets have been linked to Harrell in the past because of their need down low and Harrell’s ability.

In 25 games with Charlotte, he averaged just 11.4 points and 4.9 rebounds. At 28-years-old, Harrell is a valuable bench piece and can produce on both ends of the floor.

Harrell originally signed a two-year deal with the Lakers. It feels like a decade ago given the number of moves that have been made since.

During his career, Harrell has been able to assert his dominance down low on both ends of the floor. This is valuable for a contending team but also ones that are interested in bridge options in the frontcourt.

Let’s take a look at three potential suitors for Montrezl Harrell once NBA free agency begins.
