You may be picking up on a theme here. Contenders in need of a point guard should inquire with the New York Knicks about Derrick Rose.
The LA Clippers certainly fit that description. Having added Norm Powell and Robert Covington at this year’s deadline, they’re well-positioned to make a deep playoff run in 2022-23. Point guard is about the only position they’re not settled on.
That’s not a knock on Reggie Jackson. He’s an effective isolation scorer and a player the Clippers should value. He’s just not quite the playmaker that Rose is. Realistically, they’d split duties as a platoon if the Clippers opted to acquire Rose.

In doing so, the Clippers would have assembled one of the deepest teams in the NBA. The only thing standing between them and a title in 2022-23 would be health.
