The 2022 NBA playoffs began on Saturday and there’s already been no shortage of incredible moments. Between the Minnesota Timberwolves stealing a Game 1 win as a seventh seed to the Boston Celtics and Brooklyn Nets engaging in an instant classic, there was a lot to like.

There’s nothing quite like a Game 1 where overreactions to a single outcome can be loud, but ultimately, adjustments occur throughout the course of a best of seven series.

There were a few upsets on Saturday with the Timberwolves being the top display of that. However, the Mavericks losing without Luka Doncic doesn’t feel like being upset, though, but regardless, they were a higher-seeded team that lost Game 1.

The higher seeded team won Game 2 during all of Sunday’s action — even though the Celtics were just one play away from losing at TD Garden.
