Making the Case: Houston Rockets
This is a simple trade for the Houston Rockets based on their direction.
When the new regime in the front office took over, it was clear that they wanted to blow things up and start over. They did so by moving all superstars and getting some picks near the top of the draft. Jalen Green looks like a promising player to build around for years.
With that being said, there are still a few pieces that can be moved to get some more assets. Gordon is at the top of the list because of his ability as a veteran player. He did his time in Houston and should owe nothing more to the organization.
Now, the Rockets should allow Gordon to play for a contender while acquiring some pieces for the future or salary dumps. Talents like Josh Christopher could receive more playing time as they continue their progression in their careers.

Parting with Gordon is a low-risk move for both size as they look to continue going in their direction. For Houston, they should have plenty of suitors, with the Suns being among them.
