1 Perfect Trade Target For LA Clippers This Offseason

LA Clippers, NBA Trade Rumors
NBA Analysis Network

The LA Clippers essentially have a gap year in the 2021-22 NBA season. With Kawhi Leonard sidelined, they knew there was a ceiling on their success. Once Paul George suffered a major injury, that ceiling lowered.

Given the circumstances, the team’s 42-40 finish stands as an achievement. While the Minnesota Timberwolves may have knocked them out of the play-in tournament, this group should be proud. They produced a winning season on the strength of heart, teamwork, and coaching.

They’ll still have all of those things next season. They’ll also have Leonard, George, and the newly acquired Norman Powell and Robert Covington. If all goes accordingly, this team should be among the league’s elite by the end of the 2022-23 season.

All they’re missing is a certified floor general. Reggie Jackson, their current starting point guard, is a talented isolation scorer.
