The New York Knicks finished fourth in the Eastern Conference last season, making the NBA playoffs for the first time since 2013.
With a decent core led by Julius Randle, the Knicks were thought to shape themselves into perennial playoff contenders. But that is no longer the case as the Knicks have fallen flat on their face this season.
New York sits at 36-45 and six games out of the 10th seed in the east. This was not what anyone inside that organization expected after their successful 2020.
