Dallas Mavericks
The Dallas Mavericks have arrived in the Western Conference. Led by Luka Doncic, they continue to be one of the title contenders coming out of the conference.
It was clear that the backcourt was a focal point in the offseason, and it continued throughout the season. Tim Hardaway Jr. was added on a new for your deal while the team acquired Spencer Dinwiddie in a trade during the season. Now, all the depot could fit in on a team-friendly deal if they lose some depth.
Jalen Brunson has entirely emerged this season. He is scoring 16.2 points per game and looking like a legitimate starting point guard. He will likely land a lucrative contract in the offseason. Whether or not that is with Dallas is yet to be seen.
If Brunson goes, the Dallas Mavericks lose an essential piece in the rotation. Oladipo is not a point guard, but he would provide some more help in the backcourt if he can stay healthy.
Because of his passing ability, the Dallas Mavericks have wanted to put shooters on the perimeter next to Doncic. Victor Oladipo will have to show that he can score like he used to, but he is a threat from three-point range.
