The Target The Golden State Warriors Should Be Eyeing
Eric Gordon has spent plenty of time in Houston with the Rockets. At this point, it is time that he once again plays for a winner. That is what he would have the chance to do in Golden State.
In recent years, the Rockets have mostly moved off veteran players, but Gordon has stuck around. His veteran presence does not benefit the team merger, given their rebuilding mode. During his time, he has still played valuable minutes.
Gordon has appeared in 57 games for the Rockets this season. He is averaging 13.4 points and continuing to shoot well from three-point range.
He was a staple for the Rockets during the James Harden era, but now that it has flipped entirely around, both sides would benefit from a trade.

Eric Gordon will not be expensive, but Houston might be able to get a young player or draft pig back from the Warriors. This is something that Golden State has plenty of and should not hesitate when thinking about bringing Gordon in.
