2 Potential Trade Packages To Send Jerami Grant To Kings

The Detroit Pistons are in the infancy stages of a rebuild, but they have to be happy with their direction. Rising NBA star Cade Cunningham has lived up to his No. 1 overall pick stature. Realistically, nothing else matters in Motor City.

Still, that’s not the only reason for optimism around these Pistons. Sophomore wing Saddiq Bey has emerged as a long-term starter.

Marvin Bagley has developed great pick-and-roll chemistry with Cunningham since coming over from (ironically) Sacramento. Besides having one of the best nicknames in the NBA, Isaiah Stewart (Beef Stew) looks long a valuable rotation piece.

This team still has a long way to go. Their 23-57 record only attests to that.

One avenue towards long-term improvement they can take would involve trading Jerami Grant. His name has been in as many trade rumors as one would expect for a quality veteran on a rebuilding squad. The Sacramento Kings would be happy to be the team to put those rumors to bed.

While the Pistons are just beginning a rebuild, the Kings decided they were sick of theirs at this year’s trade deadline. They swapped promising young guard Tyrese Haliburton for All-Star Domantas Sabonis. Having pushed their chips in, they might as well continue adding veteran talent.

Here are two trade packages that bring Jerami Grant to the Sacramento Kings.
