#3 Los Angeles Lakers

Hey… you just never know in this league!

Maybe Kyrie Irving likes LeBron James more than he does Kevin Durant and he wants to “get the band back together” in Los Angeles to try and win at least one more championship with LeBron James.

The Los Angeles Lakers are going to be looking everywhere for answers in the offseason and while they will definitely be looking to move Russell Westbrook, they could also explore trade opportunities involving Anthony Davis, who cannot seem to remain healthy and on the court for Los Angeles.

Should there be mutual interest between Irving and the Lakers, GM Rob Pelinka could look to make the offseason’s biggest sign-and-trade by acquiring Kyrie Irving for Anthony Davis.

The Brooklyn Nets would keep their championship aspirations alive with Durant, Simmons, and Davis, while the Los Angeles Lakers would have James and Irving back together again with the possibility of adding another star in a trade involving Russell Westbrook.

In terms of happening though, the chances of Irving wanting to go to Los Angeles in the offseason and join the Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James are almost non-existent. This will not happen, but it is certainly an option that makes a little bit of sense.
