Indiana Pacers Receive: G Romeo Langford, F Zach Collins, SAS 2023 1st Round Pick (Top-10 Protected)
San Antonio Spurs Receive: C Myles Turner

Trading Jakob Poeltl and possibly even moving Lonnie Walker IV in a sign-and-trade is a possibility in terms of the Spurs pursuing Myles Turner in the offseason, but in this deal, the Spurs would be giving up some youth on their bench for the 26-year-old rim-protector.

Through seven NBA seasons now, Myles Turner has averaged 12.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.3 blocks, and has shot 48.9% from the floor, 34.9% from three-point range.

Leading the league in blocked shots two of the last three seasons and finishing this year averaging 2.8 blocks per game, Myles Turner’s status as an All-Defensive caliber player is cemented, making him a lucrative target for the Spurs.

San Antonio has always been a tough defensive team and getting back to this identity, specifically in the frontcourt, could prove to be very useful for them in the offseason.

LATEST NBA NEWS & TRADE RUMORS: Has Myles Turner Already Played Final Game With Indiana Pacers?

Myles Turner is definitely not an All-Star caliber player for the Spurs to try and turn things around with their youthful core, but he is in the final year of his deal and presents a ton of upside on both ends of the court.

As for the Pacers, with them rebuilding, finding ways to add youth and future assets is a must in a trade involving Myles Turner.

Zach Collins is still trying to prove himself coming back from a foot injury, so it is possible that the Pacers would not be too interested in adding him to their frontcourt in favor or Turner, but Romeo Langford is an intriguing young guard and a 2023 first-round pick from San Antonio definitely has to be appealing to Indiana.

Langford went to Indiana University to play his college ball and being from New Albany, Indiana, he could be the “hometown kid” for this franchise. Being only 22-years-old and entering the final year of his rookie contract also makes Langford an interesting prospect for the Pacers to gamble on.
