Klay Thompson and the Golden State Warriors (47-25) took on Franz Wagner and the Orlando Magic (20-53) in part of the NBA Tuesday slate. The Magic came out on top with 94-90 being the final score.

It was a real struggle for the Warriors to get much going offensively early on, and the Magic jumped out to a 13-point lead with 2:41 left in the first quarter. Golden State had a change of fortune later on as they held a 79-65 lead with 10:56 left in regulation.

The Warriors failed to hold onto their double-figure lead down the stretch. They even held an 88-86 lead with 1:07 remaining but failed to pull out the win. Golden State gave up a made 3-pointer then fouled on a 3-point attempt—causing them to unravel in clutch-time.

“I think we’re playing soft, I think we’re playing stupid,” Warriors forward Draymond Green said. “We’re just not playing good basketball. We’re getting punked, and we’re losing a lot of fourth quarters. No disrespect to the Orlando Magic, but they’re one of the worst teams in the league.”

It was an all-around underwhelming offensive outing for both teams in this one. The Warriors struggled to get things going without Stephen Curry on the floor, and they will need to figure that out quickly since he’s going to be sidelined for some time.

Coming off a 90-85 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Orlando Magic will look to begin a winning streak for the second time this month. Wendell Carter Jr. led the way in that game with 30 points and 16 rebounds.

The Golden State Warriors have lost two consecutive games with their last outing being a 110-108 loss to the San Antonio Spurs. Jordan Poole (28) and Klay Thompson (24) combined for 52 points.

The top storyline from this game was the Golden State Warriors’ inability to stay afloat without Stephen Curry in the lineup despite facing one of the NBA’s worst teams.

LEBRON BECOMES 2ND ALL-TIME SCORER: Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James scored 38 points during the team’s 127-119 loss to the Toronto Raptors on Saturday.
