Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks (35-36) will take on RJ Barrett and the New York Knicks (30-41) in part of the NBA Tuesday slate.

Coming off a 117-112 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans in their previous outing, the Atlanta Hawks will be looking to bounce back with a win in this one. Trae Young struggled in his efficiency in this performance as he had 21 points and 10 assists but did so while shooting 5-14 from the floor with seven turnovers. Danilo Gallinarii (27) and Bogdan Bogdanovic (21) combined for 48 points.

The New York Knicks were handily defeated by the Utah Jazz 108-93 in their previous outing. Julius Randle was sidelined, but regardless, the Knicks had no answer for Donovan Mitchell (36) or Jordan Clarkson (23) as they combined for 59 points.

The top storyline in this game will be Trae Young playing again at Madison Square Garden. His rivalry with Knicks fans developed during last year’s playoffs and while neither team is having a strong season, both sides will surely enjoy sharing another moment.
