DeMar DeRozan and the Chicago Bulls (42-29) will take on Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks (44-27) in part of the NBA Tuesday slate.
Coming off a 113-99 win over the Toronto Raptors, the Bulls are looking to build some momentum. They snapped a three-game losing streak and managing to get a win against the reigning NBA champions could bring a big boost. Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan each scored 26 points in this game.
In their previous outing, the Milwaukee Bucks were defeated 138-119 by the Minnesota Timberwolves. Giannis Antetokounmpo was sidelined for this game. The Timberwolves shot a staggering 22-47 (46.8 percent) from beyond the arc with Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards each scoring 25 points.
Both teams are angling to maximize their playoff seeding. The Milwaukee Bucks are very much in play for the second need in the Eastern Conference and would jump ahead of the Philadelphia 76ers for now with a win. The Bulls are seeking to avoid a slide in the stretch-run.
