Why Trading For Beal Makes Sense For The Heat
It is not every day that one of the league’s best offensive talents requests a trade and this is what we could be looking at in the offseason with Bradley Beal.
Beal has a $36.4 million player option for the 2022-23 season that he could opt into, but many are expecting the three-time All-Star to opt out, become an unrestricted free agent and look to negotiate a max deal worth upwards of $240 million with the Washington Wizards.
However, this does not mean that Beal’s long-term future will be in Washington with the Wizards. Time-and-time again, this front-office has seen turnover and plenty of new faces on their roster.
For the Heat, landing Bradley Beal would be huge, especially if they are able to find a way to keep Kyle Lowry, Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo in the process.
