Tyler Herro and the Miami Heat (47-24) will take on Tyrese Maxey and the Philadelphia 76ers (43-27) in part of the NBA Monday slate.
In the 76ers’ previous game, they were defeated by the Toronto Raptors with 93-88 begin the final score. Joel Embiid finished with 21 points and 13 rebounds while going 6-20 from the floor and 9-11 on free throws. James Harden struggled with just 17 points while shooting 5-12 from the floor, missing all four of his 3-point takes, and finishing with six turnovers.
The Heat coasted to a 120-108 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder in their previous outing without Jimmy Butler even being in the lineup. Miami has continued to thrive even when key players have been out. Tyler Herro finished with 26 points, seven rebounds, and four assists off the bench.
The clear-cut top storyline in this game will be the Heat looking to take care of business against this Sixers team that will be without James Harden and Joel Embiid. Jimmy Butler was originally listed as questionable to play. If he doesn’t, seeing Tyrese Maxey take and Tyler Herro take on large roles could be intriguing.
