There was a lot of trade chatter ahead of the NBA trade deadline this season surrounding Pistons’ forward Jerami Grant, but Detroit ultimately decided to keep their high-level combo-forward.
Currently in the midst of his eighth NBA season, second with the Pistons, Jerami Grant has really emerged as a key two-way threat for the Pistons.
Since signing a three-year, $60 million deal with Detroit ahead of the 2020-21 season, Grant has averaged 20.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists and has shot 42.5% from the floor.
At the trade deadline, many playoff contending teams inquired about Grant’s availability, but the Pistons held onto Jerami Grant due to the fact that they did not receive the right value they were looking for.
