Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics (48-28) took on Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors (41-29) in part of the Wednesday NBA slate. The Celtics got the win with 110-88 being the final score.

The Warriors failed to score 20 points in three quarters and ultimately had far too poor of results on that end to compete. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown each provided Boston 26 points while Marcus Smart had a solid 20 points and eight assists for his performance.

There’s a lot of optimism surrounding the Warriors right now, but the Celtics got the best of them. Draymond Green made his return to the lineup in their previous outing and his two-man game with Stephen Curry helped his superstar teammate to score 47 points.

However, Curry’s night was cut short due to injury. There was controversy about Smart using a dirty play and ultimately resulting in the Warriors superstar being unable to finish the game.
