DeMar DeRozan and the Chicago Bulls (41-27) took on De’Aaron Fox and the Sacramento Kings (24-45) in part of the NBA Monday slate. The Kings protected their home floor with 112-106 final score.

Sacramento got to work early and built up a 20-point halftime lead. However, the Bulls rallied back in the second half and made it 90-89 at one point. There just wasn’t enough in the tank to get it done.

The Bulls received 20 points from Zach LaVine (27), Nikola Vucevic (23), and DeMar DeRozan (21) in this one. However, a rough shooting night from the team proved too much for the Raptors to overcome.

The Kings received a big night from De’Aaron Fox, who finished with 34 points, six rebounds, and six assists, Domantas Sabonis was key as well with 22 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.

Coming off a 101-91 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Bulls looked to make it two wins in a row with their matchup against the Kings, but were unable to do so. DeMar DeRozan is having a strong season and in his prior performance, he had 25 points in this game with Nikola Vucevic chipping in 20 points.

Zach LaVine did not play in the Bulls’ last game as he continues to deal with knee issues. He was originally listed as questionable to play against the Kings but later got cleared.

Coming off a 134-125 loss to the Utah Jazz without Rudy Gobert in the lineup, the Kings bounced back with a win over the Bulls.
