The Miami Heat have consistently been one of the best teams in the NBA this season. They are currently atop the Eastern Conference standings with a record of 45-24 and there is a good chance that the postseason goes through South Beach this year.
The Heat have as good of a chance as any team to represent the Eastern Conference in the NBA Finals as Erik Spoelstra has his team playing well on both ends of the court. They have overcome injuries and players being away from the team with great success and it is paying off in victories.
One of the standouts this season has been Tyler Herro. He has bounced back in a major way after what some considered a sophomore slump. Herro is currently the odds on favorite to take home the Sixth Man of the Year award and with good reason.
Herro is averaging 20.9 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 32.8 minutes per game for Miami. He has been as important as any player on the team this season, but there is a chance that he is not long for Miami.
