LaMelo Ball and the Charlotte Hornets (33-35) will take on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder (20-47) in part of the NBA Monday slate.
It has been a struggling season for the Thunder as they are still in the midst of a rebuilding effort. It’s become a nightly feat of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander dropping 30+ points but not having enough help to win the game.
In their last outing, the Thunder lost 125-118 to the Memphis Grizzlies. It was their fifth consecutive loss with their last win coming against the Denver Nuggets on Mar. 2.
The Hornets will look to avoid a letdown loss vs the Thunder. Charlotte has largely struggled as of late and now find itself in the final play-in spot in the Eastern Conference.
