The Milwaukee Bucks have been without Brook Lopez in their lineup since their 2021-22 NBA season-opener on Oct. 19 when they took on the Brooklyn Nets.
Lopez is set to make his return to the Bucks’ lineup on Monday against the Utah Jazz. An integral part of their successful NBA Finals run, getting him back into the lineup will bring a key boost ahead of the playoffs.
The general defensive impact Lopez brings to the Bucks has been missed throughout the season. His rim protection, communication, and general savvy approach on that end have been critical to Milwaukee’s unit over the last few years.
As the Bucks continue to work to finish among the top of the Eastern Conference standings, Brook Lopez’s return will be a helpful boost in their efforts. Right now, they rank third and are the same number of games back (2.5) from first as the second-seeded Philadelphia 76ers.
