In speaking of defensive execution, it has been a struggle for the Hornets to get stops and they allowed Kyrie Irving to drop an insanely efficient 50-point performance in their last game. It was no different in this one with Tatum, this time, being the star to rip their defense apart.
None of the Hornets’ players managed to reach 20 points in this game and the team as a whole finished 8-32 (25.0%) from beyond the arc. Charlotte is now 4-13 in their last 17 games.
The Celtics are looking to overtake the Chicago Bulls for fourth in the Eastern Conference standings. Boston will need to keep getting wins to make it happen.
