The goal of the Orlando Magic during the 2021-22 NBA season was to see how their young guys would develop. Wins and losses weren’t of the utmost importance, as they just wanted to see progress and development from their core.

One of the players who were added to that core from the 2021 NBA Draft was Gonzaga point guard, Jalen Suggs. Suggs has struggled throughout his rookie campaign, but there were some growing pains expected. The team should want to get him as many reps as possible to finish out the season.

Unfortunately, Suggs missed the Orlando Magic’s last game against the Memphis Grizzlies with an ankle injury and he could miss another one tonight vs the Phoenix Suns.

Suggs is listed as questionable with a right ankle sprain for tonight’s matchup in Orlando according to the NBA’s official injury report released this morning.

If Suggs cannot go tonight, the Orlando Magic will be right back at it tomorrow evening for the second night of a back-to-back against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Orlando then starts a six-game homestand on Friday against the Minnesota Timberwolves, which would be the next opportunity for Jalen Suggs to return should he not make it back tonight or tomorrow.
