The Minnesota Timberwolves have been one of the better teams in the NBA for a few weeks now. They are currently riding a five-game winning streak and will be putting that on the line against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night.
There is a good chance that they will be getting some reinforcements back for that game as well. According to Jace Frederick, D’Angelo Russell and Anthony Edwards are both trending toward playing for the Timberwolves vs the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday.
Russell missed Monday night’s blowout victory over the Portland Trail Blazers with a hamstring issue. Edwards has not played since February 28th because of a knee ailment, which has cost him the previous four games.
Expect D’Angelo Russell and Anthony Edwards to be eased into the Timberwolves’ rotation vs the Thunder and in the following game against the Orlando Magic.
