The Cleveland Cavaliers knew that they were taking a risk when they acquired Caris LeVert from the Indiana Pacers ahead of the NBA trade deadline given his injury history. He was a good fit for what they needed, but would he be able to stay on the court?

Unfortunately, the answer thus far has been no. LeVert played in the first four games that he was eligible for following the trade but has not yet played since the team returned from the All-Star break. The last game that LeVert played in was February 15th against the Atlanta Hawks.

Will he be returning to the court for tonight’s game against his former team in the Cavaliers vs Pacers matchup? According to the official NBA injury report, as of 9:30 am this morning, LeVert is out and will miss his seventh consecutive game with a right foot sprain.

Cleveland has lost six of their previous eight games, dropping them into sixth place in the Eastern Conference ahead of Tuesday’s Cavaliers vs Pacers matchup. That is the last spot in the standings outside of the NBA Play-In Tournament, as they are currently three games clear of the seventh-place Toronto Raptors.
