DeMar DeRozan and the Chicago Bulls (39-25) will travel to Wells Fargo Arena to take on Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers (39-24) during the Monday NBA slate as both teams look to solidify their pursuit of playoff seeding in the loaded Eastern Conference landscape.
James Harden was sidelined for the 76ers’ previous outing, which ended up being a 99-82 loss to the Miami Heat. Losing another game to an Eastern Conference contender would be a tough outcome for Philadelphia as they rank second in the standings with every intention of finishing as close to the top as possible.
Entering this game, the Chicago Bulls are looking to snap a four-game losing streak. As Zach LaVine plays through his knee issues, the team is racking up losses and has begun a descent in the standings as a result. DeMar DeRozan is in the midst of a special season but will need to elevate his game all the more to keep the Bulls at the top.
