The Miami Heat will take on the Houston Rockets at FTX Arena during the Monday NBA slate. There’s a significant storyline surrounding the team as of late with Victor Oladipo’s season debut approaching. Will it occur in this Rockets vs Heat matchup?

According to Barry Jackson or Miami Herald, the target date for Oladipo’s return to the lineup has been the Houston Rockets matchup, but the former All-Star guard remains questionable.

“Coach Erik Spoelstra said Saturday night that he would speak with trainers before deciding whether Oladipo would play Monday, which has been the target date. “He’s close,” Spoelstra said. Oladipo was listed as questionable for Monday’s game, the first time he has had that designation this season.””

There has been no shortage of games the Miami Heat have played this season with at least one starter sidelined, whether due to injuries or personal reasons. Adding Victor Oladipo into the fold will help the team to overcome potential absences as they pursue locking up the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference.
