The Dallas Mavericks are set to take on the Sacramento Kings during the NBA Saturday slate, but they will be doing so without MVP candidate Luka Doncic in the lineup.

Prior to tipoff, the Mavericks announced that Doncic was ruled out due to a left toe sprain. Starting in his place will be Spencer Dinwiddie, who was acquired from the Washington Wizards in part of the Kristaps Porzingis ahead of the Feb. 10 deadline.

The Dallas Mavericks have won three consecutive games entering this matchup with the Sacramento Kings. Luka Doncic will be a name to watch in NBA injury news prior to their Monday contest when they host the Utah Jazz.
