The Toronto Raptors face a challenging injury situation as the stretch run of the 2021-22 NBA season plays out. Right now, they are without OG Anunoby and have been without Fred VanVleet for the last few games. When

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, OG Anunoby will miss the next two weeks to “rest a fractured finger” and will be re-evaluated “at the end of that stretch.”

“Toronto Raptors forward OG Anunoby will be sidelined for two weeks to rest a fractured finger, coach Nick Nurse confirmed Thursday,” Wojnarowski wrote. “Anunoby will be re-evaluated at the end of that stretch on a plan for his return to play.”

Fred VanVleet is expected to be back soon. He has not played since Feb. 26 in the Raptors’ 127-100 loss to the Atlanta Hawks due to a knee injury. He is expected to be ruled questionable for Toronto’s matchup against the Orlando Magic on Saturday.

In the meantime, OG Anunoby remains a name to watch in NBA injury news as the Toronto Raptors seek to stay afloat amid a playoff push.
