The Washington Wizards made the move to acquire Kristaps Porzingis from the Dallas Mavericks at the NBA trade deadline. He has yet to appear in a game with his new team, but that will soon change.
According to Chase Hughes of NBC Sports Washington, Porzingis is expected to be available to make his Wizards debut when Washington takes on the Indiana Pacers on Sunday.
One of the intriguing elements of this Pacers-Wizards matchup is that Porzinigs will be making his debut with his new team against his former coach Rick Carlisle. There was a controversy between the two during their time together with the Mavericks.
The Washington Wizards will still be a team to watch in NBA injury news as Bradley Beal is recovering from wrist surgery. Kristaps Porzingis has been a key name to watch and could remain as such given he has struggled to continually stay available.
