Utah Jazz
The Utah Jazz has financial concerns of their own right now, as they are $12 million over the tax line this season, but there are some concerning aspects to their roster.
Donovan Mitchell is an All-Star, superstar-level scoring machine, but who else do the Jazz really have? Bojan Bogdanovic and Mike Conley are aging veterans who are inconsistent and it really does feel like the second-best scorer on Utah’s roster is on their bench in Jordan Clarkson.
Rudy Gobert’s impact on offense is small as well, which is why the Jazz could be sent to the drawing boards after the playoffs to try and find ways to add more offensive firepower to their roster.
Moving on from Bogdanovic in the offseason is a real possibility, as he will be turning 33-years-old in April, which is why a reunion with Gordon Hayward could be welcomed with open arms by the Jazz and their fans.

Gordon Hayward is also an aging veteran in this league, but he is familiar with the Utah Jazz and can be a reliable No. 2 scorer in Utah’s system next to Donovan Mitchell, more so than Bogdanovic has been over the years.
Money-wise, this trade does not make much sense for the Jazz, but if they are looking to upgrade from Bojan Bogdanovic, Gordon Hayward is not a bad option for them whatsoever.
Ultimately though, a lot of Utah’s decisions in the offseason will be based off of how they do in the postseason this year.
