The Western Conference seems very top-heavy this NBA season with the Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors holding the two best records in the league all season long, but the Memphis Grizzlies are not far behind entering the conversation for being a part of the conference’s top-tier teams.

Now just a half a game behind the Warriors in the standings, the Grizzlies have proven that they can hang amongst the league’s best this season and they are making a late season push for the top-seed in the Western Conference.

Right now, it does not appear that anyone is going to catch the Phoenix Suns, who hold the league’s best record at 50-12 on the season, but the bottom of the Western Conference is where all the action lies.

The Los Angeles Lakers are still fighting just to earn a play-in tournament spot and mid-tier teams like the Mavericks, Nuggets and Timberwolves are looking to avoid falling into the play-in tournament region by the end of the season.
