The Golden State Warriors have been playing without Draymond Green due to a back injury since practically Jan. 5 since he “played” on Jan. 9 just to take part in the opening tip of Klay Thompson’s long-awaited return to the lineup after two season-ending injuries. Thompson has been sidelined lately, too. When will their NBA stars be back?

Klay Thompson, on the other hand, will be back into the lineup when the Warriors take on the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday. As he put it, “I’m playing. I didn’t come all the way to Dallas to watch.”

Currently, the Golden State Warriors find themselves with a 43-19 record and are very much at risk of being overtaken by the Memphis Grizzlies for second in the Western Conference standings. The Dubs have gone 4-6 in their last 10 games and have lost two straight games.

Among the Warriors’ recent losses was an epic 107-101 meltdown against the Dallas Mavericks that featured Golden State giving up a staggering 26-1 run in the second half.

The Warriors will surely be a team to continue to monitor in the latest NBA injury news as they continue to work their way back into being a healthy group. Getting Draymond Green back into the lineup sooner rather than later will be key in taking pressure off Stephen Curry, but Klay Thompson’s return surely will help in the meantime.
