A return to the lineup for Darius Garland is something Cleveland Cavaliers have been checking NBA injury news to see take place. It appears they will get what they seek on Wednesday when the Cavs take on the Charlotte Hornets.

According to Cavaliers reporter Evan Dammerell, Cavaliers guard Darius Garland has been “going through a full gambit of drills” ahead of the team’s matchup with the Charlotte Hornets—setting the expectation that he play through the lingering back isues he faces.

The Cleveland Cavaliers haven’t had rising star Darius Garland in the lineup in any of their outings since NBA All-Star Weekend. As the Cavs aim to stay afloat in the Eastern Conference standings, having their star guard back in the fold will go a long way as they have gone 5-5 in their last 10 games.

On the 2021-22 NBA season, Garland has provided the Cavaliers with impressive averages of 20.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 8.0 assists in what has been a breakout campaign.
