The Brooklyn Nets have been without NBA superstar Kevin Durant since Jan. 15 when he played just 12 minutes against the New Orleans Pelicans. He has been sidelined due to an MCL sprain that originally received a timeline of 4-to-6 weeks for his return.

When the Nets will take on the Miami Heat on Thursday, Durant will make his return to the lineup—bringing a positive boost to the NBA injury news cycle.

In the 36 games Kevin Durant has played this season, he has posted incredible averages of 29.2 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 5.8 assists for the Brooklyn Nets.

It has been a disaster for the Nets in the 26 games they’ve played without Durant as they’ve gone just 8-19. He will be a big help against the Eastern Conference-leading Miami Heat.
