LeBron James has spoken glowingly about Madison Square Garden previously and how much he enjoys playing there. How about actually calling it home as a member of the New York Knicks?

If James can help get the Knicks over the hump and bring a championship to the franchise for the first time since 1973, it would be arguably the greatest achievement of his career. His case as the greatest player of all time would get even stronger bringing a title to New York.

Also, there isn’t a bigger market for James to play in. He has a lot of things going on off the court and New York City is the media capital of the world. All of his business ventures that he is a part of will continue if he plays for the Knicks.

If James is going to leave one marquee franchise in the Los Angeles Lakers, he could look to land with another one and the Knicks could very well provide him that opportunity. The team is gearing up to have cap space in 2023, which is when James could be entering free agency.
