Teams are getting a week to rest up and prepare for all-out war during the NBA All-Star break, as there are just a handful of weeks left in the season for teams to clinch their playoff spots.

In the Western Conference, the Suns and Warriors have pretty much locked up their top spots in the playoffs, but the Eastern Conference is still very much up for grabs and we could see a ton of surprises between now and the end of the year.

Just 4.5 games separate the Bulls and Heat, the two teams tied for the 1-seed,  from the 6-seeded Boston Celtics, and just 7 games separate them from the 8-seeded Brooklyn Nets!

There will be plenty of movement in the standings across the NBA over the next few weeks and this could very well paint a clearer picture of who will ultimately reach the NBA Finals for a shot at winning a championship.

LATEST NBA NEWS & RUMORS: 3 NBA Contenders In Need Of Making Buyout Signing

The Milwaukee Bucks, the defending NBA champions, and the Phoenix Suns, the defending Western Conference champions, both have made very compelling cases to be title favorites this season, as have the likes of the 76ers with their new MVP-like duo in James Harden and Joel Embiid.

We should not be so quick to write off the Brooklyn Nets either, especially if their “Big 3” in Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and Ben Simmons are healthy and ready to go for the playoffs.

The big names and the teams that have been highlighted all year long definitely have a chance to reach the NBA Finals in pursuit of a title, but what about some of the other, less talked about teams in the league?
