One of the hottest NBA rumors to hit the press lately involves Brooklyn Nets superstar James Harden. Supposedly, Harden is extremely open to exploring other opportunities this summer that don’t involve returning to the Nets.
The main idea behind this, according to rumors, would be a Harden-Daryl Morey reunion. This time, however, the two would be teaming up on the Philadelphia 76ers. And the player being sent back to Brooklyn in the sign-and-trade? Ben Simmons.
Back when Harden requested a trade from the Houston Rockets, Houston was trying to trade him to Philly in exchange for Simmons. In the end, though, the move was made to ship him to the Nets for Victor Oladipo and a whole host of draft picks.
Now, instead of trying to trade Simmons for Harden, Morey is attempting to do the opposite. He wants to pair Harden with Joel Embiid, but now other teams around the league are accusing the two parties of collusion.
