The needs for the New York Knicks go well beyond a big man coming off the bench. They are still trying to find their identity. The Knicks do not defend as well as they did last year and Randle is not looking like the star everyone thought. New York already pulled the trigger on one deal and could be looking for more.
Cam Reddish was acquired from the Atlanta Hawks a couple weeks back. They parted ways with a first-round pick and could potentially get some draft capital back.
Noel is not worth a first-round pick but he could bring some more young talent to a rotation that needs to build. The path is easy for New York. Well, easier said than done.
The team needs that superstar that can get them back into contention. It is hard to win in the league without that player. DiVincenzo fits in like Reddish. They are both young players who can continue to develop off the bench for the Knicks.
