With just three days until the NBA trade deadline there is plenty of action around the league pertaining to players that could be on the move.
Over the weekend, two big moves were made not only with the Clippers acquiring Norman Powell and Robert Covington from the Trail Blazers, but Caris LeVert being on the move to Cleveland.
Powell and Covington were traded to Los Angeles in a move to free up necessary cash flows moving forward in Portland. Anfernee Simons pending free agency is something the Trail Blazers are going to invest in fully and while the contracts of Eric Bledsoe and Justise Winslow are not too favorable to them right now, rookie Keon Johnson is definitely a solid building block for them to add to their roster.
In the Eastern Conference, the Cavaliers finally made the big move they have been speculated to make by adding former Pacers’ wing Caris LeVert. Currently 33-21 on the season, the Cavaliers have been surging up the standings, even though they are not at full-strength, and all they have been needing is a little boost on offense.
