Does this trade make sense for the Chicago Bulls?
Alex Caruso is currently sidelined after undergoing surgery for a fractured right wrist and Lonzo Ball is currently sidelined after having arthroscopic left knee surgery. Both guards are out for the foreseeable future in Chicago, leaving Coby White and Ayo Dosunmu as the Chicago Bulls only guards.
Currently, at the top of the Eastern Conference standings, the Bulls could really use another reliable ball-handler in their backcourt, which is why trading for Dennis Schroder at a low price makes sense.
The best problem a team can have in the league is having too many reliable guards and at full-strength, Chicago would have quite the repertoire in their backcourt.
With Lonzo Ball and Alex Caruso both likely out until March at the earliest, the Bulls need someone that can take pressure off of their stars, as well as contribute off of the bench.

Dennis Schroder can do both of those things and the Chicago Bulls really do not lose anything from this trade. A second-round pick way down the line means nothing to this team right now and Troy Brown Jr. is nothing more than someone who fills minutes while others are injured.
Being an impactful offensive weapon, Dennis Schroder could really fit in nicely as a backup guard in Chicago.
