Jerami Grant
It’s not a likely option by any stretch, but the Utah Jazz have been linked as a potential suitor for Jerami Grant for good reason. He would bring a needed one-two punch on the perimeter alongside Donovan Mitchell while aligning with the defensive mentality the team embraces.
While Grant isn’t having as strong of a season as he did during his breakout campaign, he’s still averaging 19.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.5 assists. His efficiency has been down, but again, he’s only played in 27 games this season, so it’s tough to be too concerned.
When Donovan Mitchell gets blitzed by two defenders come playoff time, it’s important to have a big wing that can put the ball on the floor to make something happen. That’s where Grant would come into the picture.
Executing a trade for Jerami Grant would be a costly endeavor for the Jazz, and currently, they are gridlocked when it comes to being able to send out first-round picks through 2028 until their two outstanding picks they’ve traded away actually convey.
